About

This small woman owned and operated business supports Indian artisans and craftsman.
After living in India for over 8 years, the founder of Be Deva, Brooke Deva, wanted to share all the beautiful traditional jewelry and textiles of India with the rest of the world.
Transitioning from sales at flea markets, Be Deva is a slow growing one-woman owned and operated business, based in her hometown of Woodstock, New York.
The name Be Deva is a play on Brooke's name: her first initial 'B' and her middle name Deva. Deva is a sacred Sanskrit word with many divine meanings including Light.
Be Deva hopes to inspire us to be the light. To shine our inner light out into the world.
Be Deva strives to support small family owned and operated businesses in India. By working directly with the jewelers and textile makers, every piece is made with care and quality controlled. From the intricate traditional dot work techniques on some of the silver to the precise hand printed textiles, the beauty of India can be seen in every piece, including the imperfections.
Lets Be The Light and Inspire others to do the same.
